Jennifer Charles-Emery is a trauma-informed life coach, story coach, grief care provider, and spiritual director who is passionate about creating safe, compassionate spaces where people can engage their stories with honesty, courage, and hope. She offers both individual and group coaching, inviting people to slow down, become curious about their lives, and discover God’s healing presence in the places that have felt broken, confusing, or painful.
Jennifer brings a gentle, attentive presence to every conversation. She is known for being compassionate, intuitive, and deeply thoughtful, offering kindness and grace as she walks
alongside others. Her desire is to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and welcomed—believing that healing often begins when our stories are received with care.
Her own journey into story work began more than eighteen years ago when she participated in To Be Told with a courageous group of friends. That experience opened the door to exploring
her family-of-origin story and began a profound journey of healing and restoration. It eventually led her to complete Narrative-Focused Trauma Care Levels 1 and 2 through the Allender Center, where she was trained to help others engage their stories with wisdom, curiosity, and compassion.
Jennifer has also walked through profound personal loss. After the death of her first husband from cancer, she experienced firsthand the long and sacred journey of grief. As she learned to
walk with God through sorrow, she discovered that hope and healing can coexist with deep loss.
Today, she has the privilege of accompanying others as they navigate grief, life transitions, spiritual questions, and the longing for wholeness. For many years, Jennifer has served in women’s ministry, leading small groups and mentoring leaders. Alongside her work as an interior decorator, she now devotes her time to life coaching, grief care, spiritual direction, and story coaching. She considers it a privilege to sit with people in their stories, offering presence, compassion, and hope as they encounter the healing love of God.
Jennifer would be honored to walk with you as you discover that your story—every chapter of it—matters, and that healing is possible.
